P90X Round 2! Looking for workout buddies!
Hello everyone, my name is Matt. I am starting my second round of P90X tomorrow (Monday December 3rd). I was in a sort of "group" during my last round and people posted daily to say how they're doing, what workout they did, ask questions, etc. I know there are lots of groups like this and I wanted to start one of my own for my next round of P90X. I don't mind if you are starting in three days, or are halfway through phase 2. Go ahead and post, I like meeting new people and getting advice/extra knowledge on fitness.

I will say a bit about myself now for anyone reading this, and about me with P90X. Like I said, my name is Matt. I'm 17 years old, and I live in a somewhat small town in Maine. I am a senior in High School, and hold a part time job at a local restaraunt where I work 24 (sometimes more, my bosses don't exactly follow the rules) hours per week in addition to going to school, preparing for college, and enjoying my senior year. I know a lot of people have much more on their plates than I do, with 40 hours of week of work and kids, so I generally don't complain about the things I have to do. I still do work out though, and I love to do it.

I already completed one round of P90X, I have been using the program for muscle building, and wow did it work! I am a skinny kid, I am 5'7 and currently weigh 130 pounds, I started my first round at 122, so through one round I gained 8 pounds of muscle. I also can tell my body fat was reduced a bit as well. My goal(s) for this round are: 1. Gain at least 7 more pounds of muscle, 10 would be the ideal most. 2. Increase my cardio a bit. 3. A specific goal, to build up my shoulders in terms of size. 4. Maintain current body fat. (I assume it's less than 10% but I don't really know.) Other than that, I don't have many other goals. I'd love to hear from some people on how they do with the program, what they're goals are, and things like that. Thanks for reading, I'll post tomorrow after Chest&Back! It'll be day one all over again!

Hello again, I just finished up Chest and Back about 10 minutes ago. Wow, this wiped me out, just like it did on my first day. I tried something which I really should not have done, and it did keep me from finishing the entire workout. I added weight to my push ups/pull ups, which did leave me feeling the burn quite a bit but it tired me out way too much. The last four exercises in the exercise simply could not be done, I was feeling sick and the last time I pushed through the sickness I threw up. I won't be adding weight on those again, but I did learn my lesson. Tomorrow is Plyo, I'll post again after that, hopefully I can get some other people to join in with me emoticon

Hi everyone, I'm going to try to find a way to get this group going, if by the end of the first phase I'm the only one posting I'll just join another group..but anyways, today was interesting. Generally I do plyo, but my disc is basically scratched to the point of no return, but before it hit that point I recorded the audio of it on my iPod. This way I could do it out in my garage where the ceilings (well, the supports of the attic above the garage) are probably 8-10 feet high, so this way I can jump higher, etc. Now of course, my iPod is completely dead and the charging port is shot, it won't charge anymore. Not sure why I didn't pop in the Cardio X disc as a substitute, but I ended up doing a short run on the treadmill, did some punching/kicking on the punching bag I own, and then stretched after..so I basically did my own Cardio X. But it was fun and I enjoyed moving from thing to thing, it was nice. Tomorrow I have Shoulders&Arms, one of my favorite routines!
