INSANITY month 2
INSANITY month 2
insanity knees hurt 2 month challenge
12/3/12 1:52 AM
Just started insanity and now I understand why people get so awesome results after this month emoticon It is impossible to do full workout from the first time so I'm doing one half at the morning and the other at night (hope it will have the same effect).
I wanted to ask : when I do Power Jumps and other like this my knees start to hurt and I can't continue working out... is there any other exercises which can replace this ones? emoticon

You could use box and step on and off instead of jumping. An other thing is you can use a jump mat made to absorb the shocks...should help your knees a lot!

Let me know if I can help!

Crazy insaneness, huh? I didn't get the rock hard chiseled look that some do. But I did improve all over. Slowly getting to be one of those beachbodies. As for Power Jumps, several options for modification.
1. do low jumps, don't jump too high.
2. squat, on your way up lift your right leg as if doing a high knee, repeat.
3. check your shoes
4. jump mat may help to absorb shock
5. when you land or any type of leg work, your knees should NEVER be in front of your ankles.
