Exciting day!! Probably wondering what did I get myself into. Tomorrow will be more fun. Here's my Insanity tips for whatever they're worth, foget the people on the screen, they have 6-pack abs, 6% body fat and they need breaks. Just do YOUR best, take breaks when you need them (and you will), modify any moves you need to and just push play every day.

If you can't do some of the exercises DO NOT GIVE UP! emoticon Try to do it and you will get better and better each time.I couldn't do a regular push up, only girl push ups and I'm on week 5 on P90X and I still can't fully do one but as i workout more and more each day my arms are getting stronger. I still have a long way but hey I'm getting there emoticon Wish you the best of luck!

I will be starting tomorrow! The program will be arriving in today's mail but I like to have my rest day on Mondays. I've done P90X a few years ago and had good results. This will be my first time with Insanity and I need it -- I am way out of shape needing to lose 50 lbs. Here we go! Good luck everyone!

That is so awesome you all started today! Congratulations!! To all of those that are starting tomorrow, here is a pre-congratulations! You all are on the path to a better and healthier lifestyle! If you are looking to improve endurance, drop weight or tone up, Insanity along with Shaun T are the tools that will get you there! emoticon Just like what Shaun T says, "1 year's worth of results just in 2 months!"

I'm starting today too! My wedding is coming up in July and so I need to trim down early before my dress fittings in Feb. Good luck to everyone starting!

Question for an experienced Insanity person - is it recommended to get 'in shape' before starting the program? (i.e. 1-2 weeks of cardio before starting)

I created an accountability thread. I’ve seen 4 or 5 threads started over the last few days created by people starting Insanity Dec. 3 -5, so I thought it may be a good idea to try to merge everyone into one thread during the next 60 days – the more motivation the better. I know I need it. I will post this on the other threads too.

Jenn - It wouldn't hurt to start activity before Insanity, but not necessary. Don't get hung up on finishing the discs, do what you can and Insanity will build you fast. Let me tell you, I did 2 rounds of P90X and thought I was in good shape and did Insanity because cardio was my weak spot. Well I could barely finish the first Plyo disc even with breaks, but just keep pushing and you get so much better. That being said, I took breaks on every Insanity disc (except recovery) from beginning to end and most people do, this is really hard cardio. Even the distance runners on my threads need breaks. You'll find though the breaks get shorter and you comeback quicker as time goes on. Good luck to you all, keep pushing. Feel free to ask me any questions you have and have fun with it.

I would love to keep each other accountable. I use to run every day and it didn't matter how I felt, if I was tired or anything becuase I knew I had my friend waiting on me. She doesn't run with me anymore so it is a little harder to get out of bed and go when I know the bed feels so good.

I completed Day 2 this morning and it felt great. Other than being extremely hungry... I am pumped about this.
