Creatine is great post workout but you need to cycle it. 6 weeks on and 6 weeks off. I would put 5 grams in a Post Workout Drink and Results and Recovery is a great one to put it in. If not Results and Recovery then just use Apple Juice but add 10 grams of unflavored whey to it. You want a recovery drink as soon as you are done working out.
I have had fantastic results with P90x and Body Beast following the nutrition guides and the concept of the Recovery Drink. The recovery drink has a ratio o 3 or 4 to 1 carbs to protein with more carbs than protein. I started with creatine, protein, and apple juice in P90x and graduated to the Beast Shakes of Body Beast...keeping the ratios the same.

Your calorie number sounds way to low. You have to feed the machine with P90x to get the best results possible and if toned is what you want you will have a difficult time at the low calorie amount. I honestly prefer the following macro and put all my clients on it since it is balanced and builds muscle: 50% carbs, 30% protein and 20% fat. Muscle burns fat, build the muscle and burn the fat.
