Failed Fit Test :(
Failed Fit Test :(
12/4/12 10:07 PM
I am obviously not ready to start p90x but I thought I would give it a try anyway. I definitely am not able to do it as of right now. I was just wondering if there was another program for people that aren't very fit or if there is a simple program I could just follow. I have been on a diet and lost like 15 pounds in the last 2 months but it is not enough for me to pass the fit test. Any advice anybody? emoticon

Also, I don't believe my problem is lack of motivation.

First, great job on dropping 15 lbs! Sounds like you are doing something right with your nutrition. Yes, P90X is an advanced program and the reason they have the fit test is to see if you are ready for the program. This doesn't mean you'll never be able to do it, it just means you might need to progress to it. Even if you don't pass the fit test, you could still do the program, but you would have to modify many of the exercises. If you still feel that even with exercise modifications that it's still too hard, then Power 90 might be a better choice to get you started.

Hope this helps!

The two programs I'd advise are Power90 and/or 10 Minute Trainer. Both are significantly easier than P90X but will get you where you need to be to do P90X
