(to the tune of Beyonce) All the single ladies...now put your hands up!

I'm in need of all the support/community/pointers/encouragement/advice/chit-chat I can get from my single ladies out there!!! (Honestly, you don't have to be single)

I'm just fed up with this yo-yo dieting/lack of motivation/starting over and over again ordeal. I've started several Beachbody programs (P90, P90X, Chalene Extreme, Turbo Jam), key word STARTED but I've not finished emoticon and I am determined to FINISH, stay motivated and be healthy!

Does this sound familiar to you!?! emoticon Or, maybe it doesn't but you can pass on some advice...

I would just like to know that there are other women out there who are struggling with the same things or different issues and want to be an encouragement to each other. Whether you're 18 or 110 years of age, I would really appreciate your words of wisdom during this new journey.

My biggest struggle is food, I LOVE food and my lack of self control has gotten me to where I am now. A year ago I started a new job, moved to a new city and now living on my own in a new apt...a brand new start! So, I thought...well I didn't realize with starting a new chapter in life would come loneliness, nights of sitting on the couch eating my life away and becoming what I feared would never happen to me single, fat, unattractive and extremely unhappy.

Honestly, I've had enough. I don't want to continue living like this, feeling sorry for myself and not do anything about it. So, I'm laying it all out here...

I'm am starting this program at my heaviest 225 lbs @ 5'2"....ugh! (I debated on posting this info...no one but my doctor knows this info). But, I'm done with this unhealthy lifestyle. My goal is to lose 100lbs...is that unrealistic!?! If you've done it or are on your way there or just starting could you share with me what your journey has been like and how you keep motivated? Any PRACTICAL nutritional advice that you've discovered? Anything you'd like to share...

I'm ready to FINISH this...

If you've made it this far THANKS for reading!!! Please leave a comment emoticon

Blessings!
~kxc

P.S. I'm also looking for a good coach!!!

Hi! I'm not a coach, but I am single and I'm starting at about where you are. I was 237 this morning. :-(

I see that you posted this in October.... Did you start your P90X? I've completed one round of that one, and I did enjoy it and saw some results. I've decided to give Turbo Fire a try and I'm starting tomorrow. Though it's not the same program, it would be nice to have someone to chat with who really wants to do this. I love the idea of an "accountablity partner" but I always end up feeling like I'm nagging the other person.

I'll send you a buddy request, and maybe we can battle this out together?

Lola
