Insanity Results?
Insanity Results?
12/5/12 6:57 AM
Hey Everyone
I started Insanity on 11/25/12. The fit test even kicked my butt, but now I am slowing starting to be able to do more moves and keep the consistancy going longer. I did take before pictures and also took my measurements. I feel as thought I am losing inches but not any pounds. I do a biggest loser weigh in every Thursday and as of right now, I am only down 0.8 oz. I would love to see that scale go down more. I know that its not all about the scale but for some reason it makes me feel better seeing the number go down.

For those of you that have done insanity or currently doing it, how long before you saw the scale move?

Thanks!!

Liz

Honestly, I wouldn't sweat the scale at all.

Biggest loser contenst generally favor people that have a lot of pounds to lose, not necessarily someone looking to get in great shape. Losing inches but not pounds is practically ideal, so please don't sweat the scale.

If it starts to move, so be it. In the meantime, just enjoy the progress you are making, both physically and in terms of performance. I know this probably isn't the answer you were looking for, but something tells me that you already know the wonderful truth about your situation.

Keep going, don't worry about the number on the scale or the contest.

Hope that helps.

The above advice is 110% correct. You've only been at it two weeks and already your both stronger and losing inches. That's great. Weight is the most meaningless measurement of progress unless you're someone with 50 lbs to lose. Just keep doing Insanity and you'll see great results.

Hi,

I wouldn't worry about the weight to be honest. Remember, muscle is denser than fat so the scale may not change much at all. Concentrate on the numbers going down on the measurements instead and it shouldn't be long before you notice the results. emoticon

I have to agree not to worry about the scale while doing Insanity because it focuses on getting fit over losing weight like the biggest loser. The upside is that you're losing inches which is way more important when it comes to appearance anyways.

Keep at it and you'll see more results further down the program.
