Hey everyone,

I'm about a week and a half from finishing asylum and starting P90X. I have a question about the meal plan though. I love structure in my day to day routine, so I plan to follow the meal plan approach rather than the portion approach. In the Meal Plan it shows one snack as being a recovery shake and a protein bar. My question is whether this is your Post-Workout shake/supplements or if this is a morning snack in addition to whatever Protein shake/recovery shake you have after a session? Any help would be great, thanks!

I would say this is your post workout nutrition. However, I would look over your overall calories and make sure you are taking in enough. I would consider that you may need to add in the protein bar somewhere else. Can you track your food for at least a day to see that your calories are? Do you use a heart rate monitor?

Are you currently doing the Insanity/Asylum eating plan? What are your goals? If you are liking that way of eating it might be something to consider just continuing with your current plan.
