5lbs in 25 days is a great result!

Healthy weaightloss should be in the 1-2lb/week range. You are a little over 1lb/week. That said, 80% of weightloss happens in the kitchen. Make sure you are following the nutrition plan and everything else will work out.

Men tend to lose weight faster than women, so don't get lost in the competition with your husband.

Lastly, the weightloss is really just 1 result of these fitness programs. It takes a lifestyle change to see true longterm results. It's a journey not a sprint. Don't get hung up on what the scale is tellying you. Most people lose more weight in the 2nd month anyway. Other things besides weight to think about: Do you clothes fit better? Can you do more things? Do you feel better in general?

Are you losing inches, as well? 5 pounds in 25 days is an excellent pace! Also remember, as you do Insanity, your muscles are getting stronger, so you may be shedding fat but not weight because of muilding muscle. A pound of muscle takes up much less space than a pound of fat! For instance, I started my 4th Insanity round at 120 pounds (I just finished recovery week of round 5 this morning), but have only lost 6 pounds since then, because, with the help of adding resistance training to my Insanity schedule, I've put on quite a bit of muscle while shedding that fat. Inch wise, however, I've lost quite a bit. That's why measuring is so important, it is a much better indicator of progress than weight is.

How is your diet? What are you eating? Like he said, 80% of weight loss success is in your diet.

Do you have a coach? Having a coach is also a great benefit for tips and support. If you need a coach, I would love to work with you!

Thank you guys for your input. Im happy with the results, I just want to stay motivated and make sure the results im getting so far are normal. I understand this is no quick fix and we are in it to be healthy not only thin. We are following the nutrition guide as well as the abs diet and that has been going well also.
