Is it okay to work out muscles that are already sore? I just started P90X this week and Ab Ribber is scheduled a couple days a week. I'm still sore from the first one but didn't want to do more harm than good.

Yes, it's ok to workout with sore muscles. This is part of the process when you first start. You will be very sore your first couple of weeks. Make sure you have a good post workout meal or recovery drink within 30 minutes of your workout. This will help reduce soreness, because your muscles will get protein it needs to start rebuilding. Also, Epson slat baths are a great remedy to get the soreness out.
