Taking extra day off bad or good?
SO i was wondering if i take an extra day off in month 2 does it hurt me? cause i be honest with yall sometimes i feel really tired from doing some of the workout on month2 so i take an extra day off during the week? could that affect my transformation? i only done it like 3 times. also would it hurt my body if i go from Max Interval plyo and replacing it with Plyo cardio circuit? I'll be done this week with Insanity and so far i loved it, the next 3 weeks i'll be doing it 3-4 times a week so i wont lose what i started and on January start up with round 2. Hope you guys can give me some advice.. happy holidays

I don't think taking an extra day off during the week is a problem, as long as you are CONSISTENT and still working out 5 days a week. Also, replacing max plyo with plyo circuit is okay if you really want to. I think MAX plyo would give you better results, because it's more intense and longer, but if you like the other video better and are more motivated to do that one, go for it! I think everything you're asking and doing is okay, as long as you're consistent. Consistency is key to success! emoticon

Oh, it definitely won't hurt. The most important thing is to listen to your body and do what it needs you to. Not listening to your body can result in injury, which could keep you out for weeks. It's much better just to take an extra day off here or there when you need it, then get back into it when your body feels rested and ready.

If you need to switch routines around, again, do it. If a routine is too difficult or causes you pain, you can either modify the moves until you can do them with proper form, or swap out for another workout. Either way, you will still get amazing results. Max interval plyo drives me insane, too! I hate both of the plyo workouts! Lol!

The most important thing is to do what you can do, as much as you can do it, and you will see results.

Taking the extra rest may even be a good thing if your body is getting really worn down. But on those days your nutrition is even more important. As long as your nutrition is really dialed in you should be fine. Make sure you're getting enough sleep and drinking enough water too.

I agree with you both plyos drive me nuts. But they are great to workout to. The reason why i asking if i could replace it because i didnt want to do the whole max plyo, my body was tired but i really wanted to do insanity. Right now im doing 3-4 times a week. IM already done with the 60 days. In january, i want to start again and get better results. I'll be honest with you i didnt follow the diet and i still got results, now i want to follow it and get the results that i want. Thx for the advice I really appreciat i

Coach Andrew, trust me i keep consistency doing . When i take that extra day off, the next day i keep pushing harder and harder so i can get the results. I cannot wait for round 2 in january. Im just doing it 3-4 a week right now so i wont lose any results and keep myself in shape.
