Asylum Vol 1
Asylum Vol 1

I received my Asylum Vol 1 yesterday, finally. It felt like I ordered it a month ago. I watched the first video yesterday to get an idea of what we would be doing. My question for those who have completed this program, I have one question...

How much space do you need to comfortably do these workouts? The reason why I ask is that it looks like from the video that I am going to have to use my entire garage! lol

Looking forward to getting into it. Starting Monday!

Also, I am a new BB coach and would love to meet new coaches. Please feel free to add me as a buddy. I'm going to start stalking people, soon. Just kidding!

Frankie - I am just starting Asylum too. I did Speed and Strength to "demo" them. I found that I needed a lot of space. More than what I needed for P90x or Insanity. That applies to ceiling height too. I normally work out in the basement, but the ceiling wasn't high enough for the jump rope activity.

With the agility ladder stuff, I also found I needed more room than my regular Insanity workouts.

I'd say you need at least a space 2-3 feet wider than the agility ladder itself, laid in a square.

Frankie,
I did Asylum 1 and 2 in a room that was about 15 x 15 with about 10x10 of usable space. I didn't have much of a problem other than with my mats on the floor. The workout mats seemed to want to easily separate when I did burpees. To fix that I just did the burpee moves in the hallway. Also my ceiling was super short too so I can't jump as high as possible. TO make up for it I just threw my weight vest on quick at a decent weight and just jumped as high as the ceiling would let me as fast as possible.

I set up the garage and now have a large workout mat. On the first few workouts, I was sliding all over the floor due to all the sweat!
