Training block calender and Classic/Doubles/Lean differences?
Hey all,

I haven't done anything with the calender that has days 1-90 on it and says Training Block 1, 2 and 3 at the top. What is this for? Am I supposed to be writing on it? It says Diet y/n then the day.

Also, on the back it says Classic, Doubles and Lean. What are the differences? Am I supposed to do one work-out from each section a day? I've just been going by the top list (Classic) and following the numbers and excercises there but I don't know the differences between Classic, Doubles and Lean. Are there different eating plans for each? I thought I read everything but I'm a week in and realized there must be something I am doing incorrect. Whoops! Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi! The three blocks are the three 30 day blocks of P90X. Both the lean version and classic version are one workout a day (with the addition of ab ripper x on some of the strength days). Doubles is when you add cardioX on the strength days as well.

Most people do classic. The lean is more cardio and less weights and you do not do the plyometric workout. The eating plans are the same except that if doing doubles you likely need to eat more as its double workouts.

What is your goal with P90X? This can help me best direct you.

Also, I would love for you to join us! I moderate a support/moivation thread. Many are doing P90X! Support & Motivation Thread

Happy to help with any questions!

Cheers!

Christina, I guess I need to click 'my posts' to see responses to my posts ;)

Thank-you so much for the help. I had decided to do doubles to add cardio to my P90X but have ordered Turbo Fire to supplement my P90X. When I do work out, I *love* working out twice a day. I also am excited to see results and noticed those that saw results quickest, did a Hybrid program. There were so many choices of programs to choose from, but TF seemed the most geared towards cardio.

My goal is to lose weight and gain muscle. I used to have big arm muscles from riding retired race horses and I would love those back! Am also really interested in developing stomach muscles. I mainly want to get in shape and be inspired to keep at it. I have a pretty healthy diet locked in place with a high raw foods diet so changing over to the high protein diet and so many calories has taken some getting used to.

Thank-you so much for the help and I'm heading on over to your thread now!
