insanity/p90x hybrid Help!~
insanity/p90x hybrid Help!~

I've gone thru the p90x work out once, however I did not see much change, I'm trying to get rid of belly fat, however I've been unsuccessful so far. I had more success with insanity in shedding more fat, however i had hurt my knee and had to switch program.

I'm in the process of doing a hybrid with p90x and insanity, which is not as much stress on the knee compared to insanity as the sole training.

I felt as if I've gained muscle elsewhere however my mid sections seems to have gained fat. i've tried the diet listed under p90x.

What do you guys suggest as far as the ab workout, should i try p90x plus core workout or the insane ab instead.

The P90X AbRipper is awesome!! One thing cncerns me though - if you are doing the exercises daily and following proper nutrition - you should not be gaining fat. You may want to consider recalculation you calories or taking a closer look into your nutrition. Any weight gain should be muscle only not fat.

I've usually have a protein isolate shake after an intense workout. It has only 106 calories. I try not to have that after a cardio workout.

also with the Protein Shake, keeps a bit bloated, could this be my body not accepting the protein isolote, I feel as if I have a stomach cramp!

Abs are made in the kitchen, not in the gym! Take a look at what you are fueling yourself with. Write down everything you eat. If you really want to see big results in the mid section you have really got to crack down on what you eat. Did you exclusively follow the meal plan in the nutrition guide for P90X? No cheats?

I personally like ARX better than the insanity ab workout. But that is just personal preference. Either one will help you build your abdominal muscles. But if you aren't working on the diet portion as well, you probably won't see the results you want as quickly as you could.

Insideout26,

I agree with the others. Are you following the nutrition program to a "T". If you have a small cheat here and there those do factor in on whether or not you get abs. I had the same problem you had and it was not until I started tracking my food using Myfitnesspal.com (highly recommend) that the spare around the belly started to melt away. I did a hybrid as well and that got me my transformation. Here is the video link check it out. P90X/Insanity Hybrid RESULTS!!
Keep us posted.

As strict as can be, I also do not take shakeology or recovery drinks. I tried both however once the new formula was added to shakeology, I had some bad side affects. I tried adding why protein, however that did me not good either, as i felt very bloated and had some stomach cramps everytime i took one of those shakes

I eat a healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner But still struggling to gain any advantage.
I do get tired and exhausted after every workout. and I try to fuel myself naturally after the workout, however I feel like i need more.
My carb intake is low and my sugars consumption is virtually non existent!
