Sore, not sore, do more?
Sore, not sore, do more?
muscle soreness workout is getting too easy 10 years
12/9/12 9:23 PM
I've just started doing TurboFire after 10 years doing nothing but
eating and getting fat. I am on the prep program ,been doing it for 14 days . I am impressed so far about the program and mainly surprised how low my pain is Is it because. Of how it's structured? Or it just gets more brutal later? I get nervous and hope I can get though all 90 days after my prep. I want to surprise my man and start doing P90X.

As long as you are doing the workout as it's designed to be done, it should work. I'd say keep going, and keep pushing in your workouts, each day becoming stronger and fitter. Don't be nervous and hope you can get through all 90 days. Make it a matter of, "I'm GOING TO get through all 90 days!" See it as something that needs to be done, rather then something that you want to do. It will get more intense as you go, but you will be in better shape as you go as well.

"When we want to do things, we do it when it's convenient for us. When we commit to something, we accept no excuses and do it regardless of what's going on."

There's nothing special about being sore. If you're getting a good workout and hitting your goals then just be thankful you're not sore.

Hi Janel,

Congratulations on your new health and fitness journey. I hope you achieve great results from it.

So your question is should you be sore or not and should you push yourself harder or not, correct?

Well, the simple answer to that question is it all depends. Everyone body is different and have a level of tolerance, some people will be sore, extremely sore or not sore at all after a workout it really depends on you. Another reason could be are you pushing yourself hard enough during a workout? Do you struggle or do you settle for the easier routine to get the workout done and felt like maybe I can push myself just a little bit more.

Hope I shed a little bit of info your way.

Hi Janel,

Jumping on the Turbo Fire Train is the best place to start in my opinion emoticon !! Chalene is so much fun and so motivating and inspirational, she will help you get through the 90 days for sure! I have been doing Turbo Fire for an entire year and absolutely LOVE it!! I have had HUGE success with this program!! I've loost 36 lbs and counttless inches. I am now fit and healthy and in the best shape of my life .. all thanks to Chalene, Turbo Fire and My Amazing Upline TEAM!!

Some days you will be sore.... other days you won't be! Are you doing all the schedule Stretch classes because they help a lot with reducing the soreness emoticon
