My wife and I are just starting phase 2 of P90X. I love P90X. Her maybe not as much. My impression is that maybe it is just too intense for her at this point. She has more weight to lose that I do and is much less athletic. So she seems to struggle with some of the moves and the pace.
I am wondering if the Chalean Extreme workouts might be a better choice for her than P90X? Or perhaps even one of the other Beachbody programs like Slim in 6. Does anyone who has done multiple programs have any thoughts on the best program that provides something a bit less intense to start with?
P90X is an advanced workout and it may not be the best program when someone starts. It also may not be the best program for her- maybe she rather workout to a different trainer. P90X was my first program and I love it, but I I have come to love Chalene and her programs. Turbofire, Chalean extreme, etc! She is very motivating and very high energy. Time flies when you workout with her. Does your wife want more cardio or likes the weights? Knowing her goal and likes will help me make recommendations. I will send you a buddy invite.
