Hows my food? Any Suggestions?
Im doing P90X and have slowed way down on weight loss. I know this is gonna happen but i wanted to post what im eating for the most part and the ratios im at nutrient wise. Any suggestions would be appreciated or if im doing good let me know. I appreciate it!

200-220Grams of Protein.

170-200 Carbs

40-60 Fats

Those obviously fluctuate thats why i gave you a range. But im always within that range.

Breakfast: 4 eggwhites, 1 egg, Packet of instant oatmeal

Post workout shake: 2 scoops of whey protein with cup and a half of fat free milk

Lunch: Deli sliced Turkey sandwich with mikes killer bread and tomatoes

Snack: Whey Protein bar- low sugar and carbs

Meal: 6 ounces of Chicken or a can of tuna on 1 piece of Mikes killer bread

Dinner: ALot of different things like, Tilapia and Veggies, Chicken stir fry, shrimp on brown rice, Chicken Pot Pie, Chicken Breast and Vegies. Those are most of my options.

Condiments during the whole day: Low Fat Mayo made with Olive oil, Ketchup, BBQ sauce.

Bed Time

On the weekends ill have the P90X fruit and protein shake for desert usually but give myself a few hours before bed so its not like im drinking it then going to bed.

This all equals to around 2400 Calories daily and comes out to those ratios of protein, carbs a fats above. Im always in the range of what ive showed you. Pretty consistently. How does this look? Anything you suggest?

Thanks so much!

Also, how long have you been doing P90X. By your numbers it looks like you're still doing fat shredder. That's not intended to be a lifestyle thing, just a kick starter for the first 4 weeks.Try moving off the heavy protein ratio and add in a bit more good fat, too.

Im on week 6 right now and almost done with it. I thought the fat shredder was for until you got the results you wanted then you bumped it up to the other phases? Also what if i kept the protein ratio and just added in some healthy fats? Im a huge believer in protein and dont want to cut to much of it out. Let me know. I have recently cut some fats out. Idk why but i was eating pistachios everyday and i havent for about 2 weeks now.

And according to the book im pretty much doing phase 2. It says only 1 serving of fat just like phase 1. 1 Less serving of protein then phase one and a bit more carbs. So i should go back to adding my 1 fat and dropping a bit of protein to add a bit of carbs.

Honestly the way im eating right now i have plenty of energy in my workouts, and im not loosing any strength or tiring out. Im actually getting better. So maybe just add a fat and not be as strict on the carbs while still hitting the right calorie level?

From my calculations 2400 is about right. If you feel like you've really hit a plateau, you could drop that another 100 or so, but you don't want to go much lower than that. I agree with Andrew above that you should really move into the higher carb phase. I would go at a 40% carb 30% protein and 30% fat nutrition plan.

At 2400 calories that works out to:
Carbs: 240g
Protein: 180g
Fats: 80g

Even though you feel like you have plenty of energy, carbs are still the primary source for energy and at this stage you really want to give your body what it needs.
