Hi Folks,
First, it seems pretty pull-up intensive and I’m not really able to haul my bulk all that well. I’m wondering if I’ll really get the benefits using bands or if I should invest in the pull-up max.
I got more benefit from doing the pull ups, when I started I could only do three before needing to use a chair for help by now I can do 12 or so. The bands are great I did both but felt much better when doing the pull ups so I would do that with a chair or with the pull-up max.

Second, Insanity involved a ton of pushups, but you were always moving. I was wondering if Tony’s stands are useful or if I’ll also be moving around a lot.

Just about all the pushups are in one place, I used push up bars when I did the program twice and they really up the intensity. You would be OK to use them without having to worry. There are only three or so types of pushups you couldn't use the stands on and trust me you wouldn't want to anyways.
