Hi All,
Background first, I started P90X2 just over three weeks ago. At the time I was 226 pounds and eating lots of junk food like french fries and soda. Most of the meat I ate was baked, but I didn't eat a lot of vegatables. I was exercising around 3 or 4 times a week but not very hard.
So now after three week of P90X2 I lost 10 pounds all in the first week, but in the last week I haven't lost any weight at all. My worry is I am either eating too much or not enough. I have included below what I normally eat in a day, please look at it and tell me what you think? Since I have started the program I have not ate any fried food or soda.
I'm a very picky eater so my meals everyday are close to the same.
Before workout
One Piece of Whole Grain Bread
After Workout
6 Egg Whites (sometimes wiht just a bit of turkey)
If I don't have the turkety I have two pieces of Turkey Bacon
Morning Snack
Powerbar from Performance Energy
Lunch
Two Cups of Vegtables (sometype of green vegtables)
3 ounces of Salamon
Snack
Medium Piece of Fruit
Dinner
Two Cups of Vegtables (sometype of green vegtables or carrots)
One half of a medium potatoe or cup of rice
10 to 12 ouches of pork/chicken/lean beef(very few times I have I went with Beef)
Please tell me what you think, for the most part I fine during my workout in the morning but by 8 at night I am exhausted, I get up around 5am. For work I sit at a desk most days, but I do move around a lot during the day.
I just want to make sure I am eating the right amount to continue to lose weight and I am not making my body think I am starving it.
Again Thanks for the help.
Hi! Just looking at your food, it looks that is may be not enough calories. Do you track it? I like myfitnesspal
Are you doing P90X or P90X2?
How are you feeling during workouts?
It is normal to have weeks you do not lose so do not be too worrried.
I would help if you post your stats and what the nutrition guide says you should be eating as far as calories. The eating smart part of the website is really helpful as well.
Having a group really helps! If interested, come check out the support motivation thread I moderate- great group!
