What program after P90x2?
What program after P90x2?
12/14/12 9:41 AM
I did several rounds of P90x before P90x2. Then I did P90x2. Then i went back and forth between the two programs and am about to finish P90x2 again.

what other programs can you suggest? I did a round of Insanity but prefer to get my cardio from running and swimming. My goal is not really to effect much change but to maintain my muscle mass and tone. i feel like I had fantastic results with the P90x programs but there is only so many times you can do them

Does Tony Horton have other similar progrmas?

For me, I had previously completed 2 rounds of P90X and then 8 rounds
of P90X+. Last January I started X2 and after completing 2 rounds I'm
working on a hybrid that goes somehting like this:

- 4-6 weeks Phase 2
- Recovery week
- 4-6 weeks Phase 2
(I exchange a couple of the workouts with
Phase 1 total body)
- Recovery Week
- 4 weeks PAP
-Recovery week
Repeat

I'm presently at the end of week 2 for PAP.
I found the Phase 1 workouts to be not
as difficult as those with the other phases
which is why they are not there.
I think I've avoided plateauing by utilizing the alternate workouts in phase 2.
By the time I get to PAP it's still pretty intense for me.
this works for me and if you like the X2 workouts seems
pretty reasonable.

If you like P90X, you will probably like Les Mills PUMP. It is intense and will definitely keep your muscle mass and tone. It uses a bar bell and I have noticed more definition since starting Les Mills than after 2 rounds of Les Mills PUMP. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Thanks fog. The problem with the P90x programs is that I have done them too many times and need a break

I am looking at Pump and Body Beast. Not sure which one is better for me

I just started Combat. It is pretty intense, excellent variatrion and sufficiently different from other beachbody programs that it may give you the change you are looking for
