Meet Shawneen K. ! She participated in The Beachbody Challenge and won the $500 Daily Prize for January 10th!

I was fat and miserable, too ashamed to look at myself in the mirror, too heavy to keep up with my kids. Because of a war injury—I broke my back serving in Iraq—and the weight I had put on, I could barely walk.

So I was spending more and more time in my wheelchair. And I was miserable.

Until I saw the Brazil Butt Lift infomercial—that’s when I said, ‘that’s how I want to look.’ Because of my spinal issues and the nerve damage, I had to start out slowly. At first it was one video every 2 weeks, then every week, and finally, after six months, I had the strength to tackle the 60-day program!

Losing the weight took the stress off my back and relieved the pain. So I don’t need my wheelchair anymore. I can walk, ‘hands-free’—something my Physical Therapist thought I’d ever do. I also feel like Brazil Butt Lift helped me with my brain injury, by forcing me to think at a faster tempo. I can’t say enough about Brazil Butt Lift and Tanya, my Coach, who pushed me along my journey.

Today, I can run and walk and even dance—thanks Leandro. But what I love most is when my kids look at me and say ‘if mom can do it, anyone can’!

You can change your life, too. Take The Beachbody Challenge™, for the ultimate motivation to get fit! Select any Beachbody® program and once you complete it, share your results for your chance to win cash and prizes.

Amazing and inspirational! It's like Tony Horton, Chalene Johnson and the others say: don't just do nothing, do what you can and modify!

God bless you and thank you for serving and paying such a price for our country. I know you will get stronger and stronger!

Pretty amazing story!! This is by far one of the best success stories I've seen/heard so far. Also learned a few important things from this success story. I'm helping people that are in really bad shape. I now know anyone can get in shape no matter how damaged their body is. Also want to say congrats for working so hard and getting your life back!

I am glad to have hopefully motivated some people. I never thought I would walk with out crutches or my cane let alone be completly wheel chair free. I feel so amazing and free now. If I can do it anyone can, just take the time to work up to your program, and modify where necessary. Because my wrist is fused (doesn't bend) screws hold my left knee together, and I have no rotator cuffs I have to modify a lot of exercises but I just do what I can. And it works!

First, thank you for serving our country. And second, your story is amazing and I am so proud of you for walking and dancing again! I am also using Brazil Butt Lift after a severely broken ankle, and worked my way out of a wheelchair, but my injuries don't hold a candle to yours. Knowing what I do about the pain and strength needed for a recovery, yours is simply amazing and I wish you continued improvements and success in your life and with your family.

I am kinda in the same position.

Hurt my back doing squats in Afghanistan, after a long recovery time I got better...however after leaving the army weight came up by about 20 pounds to about 250-260, working on P90 3rd day into it. Hopefully at the end of the 90 days i can look as good as Shawneen.
