Meet David S.! He participated in The Beachbody Challenge and won the $500 Daily Prize for January 24th!

For me, it happened when I saw a picture of myself with my youngest baby—I had become the “fat Dad” I never, ever wanted to be. A friend had been telling me about P90x, but when I saw the infomercial, there was no doubt—I knew Tony Horton was the trainer for me.

So I got psyched to “Push Play,” and the first day, I was ashamed that I couldn’t keep up. It was hard, but what made the difference was when my Coach plugged me into a Challenge Group. When I saw all the other members ‘killing it’ every day and posting their workouts, I knew I couldn’t quit.

And I am so glad I didn’t. After about 45 days in I realized that everything in my life was changing. My clothes were too big. My wife was inspired to use Power 90, and lots of my friends wanted to do P90X, too.

I lost about 25% of my overall weight—60 lbs.— but it wasn’t just P90X that changed my life. I really relied on the supplements Beachbody provides for “total” fitness— Whey Powder Protein, E&E Pre-Workout Formula, and P90X Results & Recovery. Shakeology played a huge role in my transformation. It was exactly what was missing from my nutrition. And until I found Shakeology, I suffered from constant headaches. Now I don’t seem to get them.

Best of all, I learned that I can do anything if I put my mind to it. I truly believe that if you commit to everything your trainer in your Beachbody program says, you can’t help but shed the weight and get ripped. I do, you can, too.

You can change your life, too. Take The Beachbody Challenge™, for the ultimate motivation to get fit! Select any Beachbody® program and once you complete it, share your results for your chance to win cash and prizes.

Can you offer anything else but a challenge group? anything that help you to keep pushing play? im the cool tattooed but fat step mom now I hate it! im in my 40's and I simply don't want to end up like my mom having surgery etc. THANKS so much!

Zoeie, a challenge group is just one way of staying motivated!!! what are your goals? what are your whys? always go back to that, post it on your refrigator, in your mirror, on your tv!! dont stop, and if that particular dvd is not working out, that's fine, get another one, insanity, turbo fire, Revabs! Beachbody has so many different ones i'll be you will find one that works for you!!!

best of luck to you Zoeie!!!

My transformation story

My story is just like so many others, it was never easy.....still to this day it is not easy. But I want it, I want to be fit for my kids. I want to be the dad they deserve, I want to be a good coach to the folks who look to me for help. <----this makes the choice an easy one. The alarm goes off at 5am everyday to "BRING IT" & I rise to do just that.

Effort.
No one can judge it..
it's between you and you.
Make it count

There are four keys things that you need.
*Motivation (Most Important)
*Goals
*Nutrition
*Workouts

My Team superXtrain is where good freinds are made. we keep each other acountable & make sure we find the fun in our fitness and nutrition.

I'm 42 and I've got a Grandfather who died from diabetic complications and a mother who has been diagnosed with Type II. Like you, I don't want that to be my future. But it sounds like you need more.

Are you already working with a Coach? If you bought your workout from Beachbody.com you were assigned one automatically. If he or she hasn't been working with you, I'd be happy to, but you should at least attempt to contact him/her first.

As far as pushing play, I mentioned the health issues above (my bad cholesterol was 200 in my last physical - right *at* the line). I LOVE Shakeology and getting a discount on it was a big part of the reason I became a Coach last year. Since I'm a Coach, however, I feel I have to keep pushing play because its really hard to be a Coach and tell somebody I can help them release weight if I've got a gut bigger than theirs! (I don't, I'm just sayin)

I'm also vain. Joining a Fit Club has worked well for me as I don't want to be in public and fall over in the first 5 minutes of a workout so its motivated me to keep pushing play. On the main Teambeachbody page, there's a search feature on the right side. Put your zip code in and search. Your profile says you're in Kingswood, TX - there's a Fit Club that meets on Saturdays in Houston. Being around a bunch of other like-minded individuals might help you to keep pushing play.

I mentioned Shakeology - have you been following the meal plan that came with P90X (again if you bought it from teambeachbody.com you should have it - can't vouch for what you get if you buy offa ebay and whatnot). Getting good nutrition and good sleep will carry you a long way towards having the energy to keep pushing play.
