Hi guys! I am new the forums, but have completed P90x before and just purchased P90x2 for some more variety!
The workout results are amazing! I am in the best shape and the only reason I don't have better results are my eating habits. I eat very healthy, but eat more 'treats' then I should. I have never kept track of what I ate or really needed to until recently. Now that I am doing that and holding myself accountable I am curious on your thought regarding exercise calories.

I think I would die if I only ate 1300 calories doing P90x; yet so many people and reputable trainers indicate to loose FAT you must with hold them. I would like to hear your experiences and thoughts surrounding this. I know there are threads regarding this, but wanted to start something new.

Great question!

First, any reputable trainer that tells you that you need to withhold calories or be on a 1300 cal/day is not very reputable in my opinion. Most women doing programs like P90x need to be on a minimum of 1700-2000 cals per day. Now, this doesn't mean 2000 calories of sweets and junk food. This means calories that are clean.

1300 calories is way too low. Can you advise your body fat % and weight so we can calculate your calorie intake to maintain weight?
