Make sure to take your pictures at the beginning of your journey!!!! Even if you feel you don't want to face what you look like at the moment... I can't tell you how motivating it is to see progress in 30 days... and then in 60 days. This is especially important for women, as we do not register weight drop as quickly as men do! Our bodies gain muscle mass and lose size often before we lose weight. Men see results very soon with all of the programs - and pictures help display that definition!
For me, I never wanted to face the reality of my body before. But I am so happy that I took my pictures, tucked them away and pulled them out after my first round of Insanity. I knew I had made progress in my fitness levels, and I lost a bit of weight, but the pictures showed me my progress in a very real way.

Everyone who is starting out new make sure to use all your tools to measure your progress - take photos, take your measurements, weigh yourself (but if you don't see immediate weight loss, put the scale away for a few weeks) and do your fitness tests!!!! SXeeing the results as you move through the program will keep you going. Many times you will see results in one area more than in another - so measure them all!!!!!
