Getting it right this time-P90x
Hello everyone,
In a few weeks I'll be starting my first round of P90x. So far, I've done Insanity and a CLX-insanity hybrid, but I haven't lost any inches yet. I've gained some strength, but that's about it. I posted a topic about that a while ago, and most of you said to up my calories, since I was eating 1200.

Now that I'll be starting P90x I really want to succeed this time, because putting in all the hard effort of working out every day and not getting results is demotivating!
SO, I've used the nutrition tool on this website and it said to eat 1500 calories (I'm 5.5'' -150) Does that seem about right? I'll be using the fat shredder ratio's.

Also..I want to start running again, since I'm really missing it. From what I've read, yoga and kenpo aren't very intensive, so can I run on those days? I'm not a very skilled runner yet..I'm planning on going from 5k to 10k.

Love to hear you comments.

I am just wondering how are you tracking down that you eat only 1200 calories? Are you using any tracking tool like myfitnesspal.com?

I weigh all my foods using a kitchen scale, and then calculate how much calories that is. After doing that for a while, you start to remember certain numbers..But if you think that I'm using a standard '1200 calorie meal plan'..I'm not emoticon.

For your first round of P90X I really recommend that you just do it exactly as designed and don't try to modify or outsmart it.
