Gonna try P90x again......dont know what to do
I tried earlier this year to do P90x. The result after 2 months was that I got nowhere. I changed my diet as much as i could but I barely lost weight and I look the same. I would keep crashing in the middle of workouts and never got any better. I changed my sleeping patterns and got more than 6 hours of sleep but that only helped for a few days. I know I messed up with the diet somewhere but I feel so......useless I just want to stop trying. My meal plan wanted me to eat 3000 calories which I cant do. I'm doing college courses and I cant leave a 3 hour class to eat a 600 calorie meal. Earlier this year I was finishing up high school and I had 8 hour days in which consuming 3000 calories in 5 seperate meals was a near impossibility. I want to do this program and change my life but eating 3000 calories honestly scares me. Plus I dont think my parents can afford to feed me that much a day. Plus I've already been told by my doctor to avoid flour in all forms for the most part. I know it seems like I'm telling my life story but I simply dont know what to do. Right now I'm 6 foot at 240 pounds. I want to get down to around 200 but I'm simply lost on what to do. Please....any tips other than just simply "follow the diet" would be very great

That's my experience with Insanity... was hard to eat like they wanted me to, and all the jumping tweaked my knees. Trying LMP now, then onto, I hope, P90x..... However, I know the nutrition is important but I cant afford to eat that healthy, I dont care what anyone says, so I'ma just do my best... and Im about 300... what HAS worked a little was cutting out rice and noodles, unless its for breakfast so I work it off, salad for dinner, lots of water, and mostly fruit as my snacks in the middle. Made me feel a little better too. I kinda fell back into soda again tho... nutrition is the hardest part for me

don't eat potatoes, rice and pasta.
Pasta in the morning works tough emoticon

Also eat whole foods, not processed foods.

I also have a busy schedule but i can manage to eat my 2400 cal a day emoticon
I wake up, drink my protein shake and eat a banana.
Then at 10 i eat my protein bar
At lunch i eat my salad and soup
In the afternoon, i eat nuts
Dinner, the dinner that the nutrition plan sais i should eat.
Then my workout
Then my recovery shake
Then chill and go to bed for 8 hours sleep emoticon

No flour.... gluten problems? I have that too so I understand the problems that can incur. It's actually easier to get food without flour than you would think, just try to stick to foods that you don't have to process to eat. Fruits, veggies, meats without breading.

As for how much you should be eating, it is a challenge to get that much food in, especially with classes. My best suggestion for that is to pack snacks that you can sort of gobble down in class quickly, without mess and hopefully without the teacher asking for some. Apples are great for that, with an ounce of cheese and you're good to go. Veggies are a little louder, carrots and celery crunch but are a good snack. Advantage, NONE of those items are dreadfully expensive. It's actually easy to find a bunch of them for cheaper than your average crap snack foods.

A lot of people find it hard to eat that many calories when keeping to healthy foods. In junk food it's super easy to go way over that amount, but it'll be all empty calories.
As for P90X, I will flat out admit for the first two months I felt the exact same way. And then month three hit. I am not sure WHY all my results came in that third month, but I was not alone in that. A LOT of people get minimal phsycial changes until after day 60. So I highly suggest trying to stick it all the way through this time. Even if the body changes aren't big, they are better than the ones you'd get doing nothing.
