Hey Isaac! I love your determination! Have you tried Insanity before or is this your first time? I'm doing Asylum Volumes 1 & 2 and I would love to help motivate you to stick with it!

Tom

Hey,

Good luck with your program. I'm sure with the help of the people here you will have the motivation to complete Insanity! I'll be starting on Dec 31 so I'll be going through it for my first time soon too. I know it's going to be tough but worth the work.

If your interested in being a part of a challege group for Insanity then you should check out the link below. My coach is putting together one. You would be able to post your accountability daily on the facebook groups site and get advice, feedback and motivation from the other members.

Hi, Issac. Glad to hear you are committing to INSANITY. My name is Sam, I am in recovery week of round 3... Love INSANITY!

For me, keeping motivated was (and still is) a mufti-faceted thing. I am motivated by the challenge of being able to last longer without taking a break, thinking how many people that have dropped out of a workout or diet program... and determined to NOT be one of them, thinking of how proudly I will stand in front of my friends/relatives when I get to my goal.

INSANITY is just as much a mental game as physical. You constantly have to remind/reenforce your goals to stay motivated... work through the pain and fatigue. Every time you do, I guarantee you will feel better about yourself.

Don't worry about keeping up with Shaun, or the others in the videos, just do what you can do. If you have to take 10 breaks to their 1, take them. Don't feel bad about doing so. Soon that number will get smaller. When I first started, I couldn't even jog in place for more than 20 seconds. I have far surpassed that now.

Again, congratulations on starting. I know you have it in you to keep going!

As Shaun said... You have nowhere to go but up. You can't fail. Just do what you can do, and every day you will get better.

DIG DEEPER!

Hi issac,

I will be starting insanity on the 31st. This is my second time trying it, i quit my first time after the first month. It is hard work, the workouts are hard, but what really makes you want toquit is the diet. You really need to go into insanity with a plan and have an idea of what you want your diet to consist of for each week and you need to be held accountable. I started my first insanity with someone else and they quit on me and eventually I quit to. You wont see much results the first month, visually, but you will see it in your measurement so i encourage you to take measurements and to take pictures of yourself, so that way you can see the progress. I didnt take pictures the first time around, but i will the second so i can actually see the difference. Just hang in their and make sure that you go into your profile everyday and post or record something to keep you accountable.
