| Hi, Issac. Glad to hear you are committing to INSANITY. My name is Sam, I am in recovery week of round 3... Love INSANITY!
For me, keeping motivated was (and still is) a mufti-faceted thing. I am motivated by the challenge of being able to last longer without taking a break, thinking how many people that have dropped out of a workout or diet program... and determined to NOT be one of them, thinking of how proudly I will stand in front of my friends/relatives when I get to my goal.
INSANITY is just as much a mental game as physical. You constantly have to remind/reenforce your goals to stay motivated... work through the pain and fatigue. Every time you do, I guarantee you will feel better about yourself.
Don't worry about keeping up with Shaun, or the others in the videos, just do what you can do. If you have to take 10 breaks to their 1, take them. Don't feel bad about doing so. Soon that number will get smaller. When I first started, I couldn't even jog in place for more than 20 seconds. I have far surpassed that now.
Again, congratulations on starting. I know you have it in you to keep going!
As Shaun said... You have nowhere to go but up. You can't fail. Just do what you can do, and every day you will get better.
