Hey all! I am now starting power 90. Lets all the beginners start here to talk about our experiences and progress!

About me: Im 22, weigh 117 and am 5"2 which is a good weight for my height. However i do have some trouble spots and just want to tone my body overall, become more toned and improve endurance. All the benefits. I am not that active.

Day 1 - I started with the circuit - i took many breaks, i wasnt able to do all 3 sets of the workouts. I didnt use much weight - this week im just treating is a run through as it says.

If anyone has any advice please let me know. I also have some problems working out because of my anxiety - i start feeling weird symptoms while working out but I will get through it!

Let's finally do this!

P.S i can post a before if it will help you guys.. Let me know

P.s i need dedicated people to post here every day (or almost everyday) about their workouts - kind of like an online workout buddy. I can see this really benefiting us to keep it up!

Can I join in on the fun? I just finished my day 4 workout. Decided to get a head start on the New Year's resolution. I did P90 last year at the beginning of 2012. Got through the 90 days but it didn't last the whole year, so here I am again.

Age 53, Currently at 190 lbs, about the same weight I started 2012 at. Not too worried about weight loss. If I keep working out the weight loss will come, never fails. Work out regular, eating always follows. Try to do it via diet alone, doomed to failure.

Was part of a teambeachbody forum group last year and it really helped. Looking forward to more of the same this time.

Would also like to join in on the fun. I've had Power 90 for a couple of years - hmmm! I'm in the first full phase of a weigh loss/management program called A Better Weigh. I was at 237 lbs and now I'm down to 195 lbs. Got a goal of getting down to 190 or 185, but want to tone now. Not very active - pretty sedentary and busy at work and home like most of us. Hoping I can get going on this and do a complete lifestyle change in exercise as I have started with my eating and nutrition.

The motivation is there, now time to do the rest of the work...Look forward to blogging with you all...

I'm starting Power 90 tomorrow! My coach (who is a dear friend of mine) had fantastic results with Power 90 and she has moved onto P90X. She is so inspirational - and I want the same results she has! So- I'll post everyday. I'm super committed (this time) and could totally use the motivation!

Hey yall! The day I posted that I was not starting until the first was a fib, because little did I know my husband would come home from work that day and want to just get started.... So today is our day 6 and I have notice a physical difference (slight but it's there) for me but for my husband, his endurence for the workouts have really increased. This is all very exciting since we just started. We will be working on imporoving our diets. Hope everyone has a great start to the new year!

Because my diet basically was terrible during week of Xmas, I am going to consider 12/30 as my Day 1. Therefore today is day 3. I did Circuit/Sculpt. I want to lose like 45 pounds; I am about 195ish and want to be 150. It's going to take a while but I am going to give it my best shot. How is everyone else doing?

How is level 3-4? Anyone get to that point? Is it dramatically more difficult, like it was with Slim in 6?

3/4 is just a little longer. In sweat you do 3 rounds of everything except kicks and sculpt, more lunges/squats and 20 push ups and dips, I like 3/4 sculpt, it has a few new ones for the forearm.

I have been doing doubles for the past week. I'm punishing myself for losing everything I worked so hard for. I'll get there.

of course you can join. if it feels too easy, focus on your form. release the weights slowly or maybe you need to increase the weights. i try to add a few more push ups or squats during the sculpt.
have a great Thursday!!

Just finished day ten and starting to feel good.
A little stuff when I begin but I feel great when I am done.

I went to dumbbells from bands and it seems completely different!

Hi, all...

I started Power 90 on January 3rd. For me, the hardest thing to do is to control my diet. Like many Americans, I eat the wrong foods and WAY too much in each serving. Look forward to talking to you all on here.

Have been doing Power 90 since the 18th of December. I believe it is a great work out. I just started keeping up with my calories realy heavily. I am trying to stay in the 1200 to 1500 range and it really hasn't been that bad. I can now do the Sculpt 1-2 pretty goo, but still have problems with the 21 pushups toward the end. The biggest thing is I have accualy gained 3 pounds since I started this program and it is becoming realy discouraging.
