Hi everyone, I just started Insanity, today 12/18/12 is my 2nd day. I made it through the fit test yesterday but I was beat by the end of it. I'm ready to improve my health and hopefully lose some weight/gain some muscle in the process. My biggest concern though is getting into good shape without looking too muscular. Not that there is anything wrong with being muscular, but I really want to keep my feminine look as I slim down. I'm about 168 now and 5'6", 25 years old size 8/10 and 27.5% body fat. Can anyone recommend how to go about slimming down without bulking up too much? I'm worried about my arms getting any bigger! Thanks....and if you are just starting out as well, good luck, I hope we can all reach our goals!

Welcome to Team Beachbody! I think it's great that you're starting out with Insanity. It was my first workout program too.

Insanity is really more focused and cardio and plyometrics and is not a program designed to build a lot of muscle, especially in your upper body. Really most people lose fat/weight and just tone up with Insanity, so I really don't think you have anything to worry about there!

Just dig deep and follow the nutrition guide and you should be fine!

Do not worry about bigger muscles or weight gain. If you watch your nutrition and follow the program at the end of it you will look and feel great.
