I work Midnight to eight am. I am also accustomed to eating only 2 meals a day. I stay awake until about 2 in the afternoon. When should I eat each meal and snack. Please help!! Almost forgot I am using the Les Mills kick start your metabolism meals.

It might be a good idea to set an alarm on your watch or cell phone to go off every 3 hours or so during the times you are awake to remind you to eat. That way you can space your meals and snacks out during the day to keep your metabolism burning and your blood insulin levels from spiking and dropping. It ends up being eating like 6 times a day, but the body quickly adjusts to it. You might feel weird the first couple of weeks eating like that, but keep up with it! emoticon

Contrary to popular belief you can eat only 2 meals a day and see great results. The important thing is to get in all of your calories/macros in those 2 meals. Look into Intermittent Fasting if weight loss is your goal. This system works pretty well for people who can only fit in a few meals a day.

There are a number of threads on this board from people with similar night shift schedules. They have a variety of solutions to their inverted schedules. The search box above will get you to those. Most important is that you be sure you're eating everything you should both in quantity and quality. I'd recommend at least 3 meals per day and if you can work some snacks in around that it's a bonus.
