Hi, I'm looking for a 40-something male coach using P90X - and P90X only - with consistent results, and who has the clear before and happily-ever-after pics to prove it! No other programs, hybrids, etc.

I plan on doing P-lifetime-X and want to meet and stay inspired by guys doing the same with success.

Anyone?

40-something? Yes.
Proven results? Yes (the B and A photos on my profile are Round 1 P90X).
X only. No. I believe in well rounded fitness. While X is the best of the best out there, I enjoy challenging my body and mind with other things. That being said, I can help you with X (plus we are locals).

Check my profile and let me know. If you buddy me, then I guess you are interested. If not, good luck with your journey.

Jason

Mikie, Good luck on finding a P90X only adept. Most people follow a program for a few rounds and go on to another program. Like Tony said Variety is the spice of life.

I have done 5 rounds of P90X before but sorry i dont have any pictures of my progress but if you need someone to help you out with your nutrition and accountability let me know, i will help you out with pleasure.

You guys both look fantastic. Plus I guess I know you're both right - I shouldn't stick to one thing only. I just figured the variety of workouts with P90X could keep your body guessing ... forever. But maybe when I'm done with this round I should try P90X2 or something.

Anyway many thanks to both of you for replying with your coaching offers, and Jason because we're neighbors I guess it makes sense to buddy up!

P.S. Dominic 5 rounds is impressive, but yes variety is the spice of life - and it keeps you from getting bored, which is key to long-term fitness.

Thanks you guys.

Michael

Mikie,
I am not a coach. I am 45. I have gotten good results with P90X doubles (I run for my extra cardio). I am on my 6th or so cycle - maybe a little more.....I stopped and restarted after a vacation.

I said good results because I am not overly strict with my eating plan.

As much as I really enjoy P90X, I have been thinking that I need to change some things up. I think our bodies can get accustomed to the P90X program and changing things up for your muscles or just a mental change can be a good thing

I would tell you that this community has great advice regardless of your coach.

Good luck in your journey.

Thanks for that. I figure P90X is great even long-term for keeping your body guessing, but you're right about change - and it's certainly important from a mental perspective. I'm just afraid of X2 and Insanity! But if I'm honest, P90X scared me before I tried it too.
