Any tips for slim in 6 first time user!!??
HEllo,

I am twenty two years old and i have a 10 month old daughter and im not only trying to change the way i eat but im also trying to shed these unsightly pounds. im trusting that god will see me thur this program. if any one has any tips are how i can go about acieving this results would be appericated

Hi Aprylj,

Congratulations on taking that first step towards getting back into shape.

Debbie's Slim-n-Six (SI6) program absolutely works, but you have to follow her workout and nutrition suggestions to get the best results.

My suggestions to get the most out of the program:

1 - Read the product literature and write down your 3 reasons for why you're doing this. (You will need these as a reminder as you wake up on certain days not wanting to workout)

2 - Find an active thread to post on for 'accountability' purposes. It really does help hearing other peoples comments, and to know that you are not alone on your journey to fitness.

3 - Set aside an hour each day for 'you', to get your workout in 6 days a week.

4 - Follow the nutrition guidelines. It is a 'must' to get the most out of the 6 week program.

5 - Go at your own pace and don't over-do it. There will be some day's that you just don't feel like getting that workout in. Resist the temptation to skip the workout. Re-read your 3 reasons as to 'WHY' you purchased the program in the first place. 'Something' is better than 'Nothing' for exercise each day. Even if it's just going for a 30 minute walk that day. The 6 weeks will fly by you in no time at all.

And as Debbie likes to say, KPP!!! (Keep Pressing Play!!) Each and every day!

Hi aprylj,
Just to add one additional "task" that has really helped me in all my Beachbody programs, write in a workout journal. Here you keep track of your successes each day, diet and even how you are feeling after completing your daily workouts, also your 'before' pictures (as well as 'after' when you complete your program). After six weeks, You'll be amazed at your "record" of your journey and will be ready to tackle another personal challenge. You will have physical, satistical and emotional results to reflect upon.

Also, if you have never really embraced exercise before, don't be afraid to use the pause button. Use this as infrequently as possible but, use it if you need it. It's better to pause and recover than it is to press "stop".

Above all, have confidence in yourself. You can do this, and do it WELL!

thank you so much owen. your right that journal would be awesome to have because i really wanna keep track.but one question how do i record here on the website(my profile) what workout i did and my own personal comments????

Hi Aprylj,

Good for you for starting this program.

I did slim in 6 over 11 years ago after my baby was born. Talk about major results!!

I order it today on DVD emoticon

Hope you're seeing great changes by now
