I finished my 7 weeks of Insanity 1-2 weeks ago, it was the first exercise workout / program I've ever done, so naturally I found it quite difficult for the first 1-2 weeks, then it got easier, then month 2 was REALLY hard for 1-2 weeks, then got a LITTLE easier.
I'm 21 years old, I'm 5 foot 11 and 165 pounds, I bought p90x after Insanity as i was under the impression that it was the step up from insanity, but after doing a bit of research most people said they are around the same or insanity is more challenging, if this is the case I know i will be able to go through with the 90 days of p90x, and that's kind of half the challenge gone.
At first i was considering insanity in the morning, followed by the double P90x schedule calendar thing but from what I've read that would be pretty stupid, so i was thinking Insanity in the morning followed by one of the p90x workouts at night, what do you guys think, is this a good idea? Anyone here who has actually done it and has some tips / advice?
Also on a side note, for the p90x I'm under the impression you dont need a pull up bar and can just use "bands" or whatever they are called, but I was also wondering If you can substitute pullups with "the pully bar at the top of the picture below" will that work the same muscles or not?
