CoachCBove:
Hi! Congrats on your dedication. A have a few questions. How close are you to your goal of weightloss? The closer you are the harder it is to lose weight. Have you seen inches lost? Any changes with P90x?
Are you tracking your nutrition? Plateaus can be due to not eating enough just as much as eating too much. Especial if doing doubles.
How are you finding the workouts? What seemed to work for you during P90? Have you changed anything? Getting enough sleep? Stressed?
I would love for you to join us at our support & motivation thread!

Hi Christina,
I am quite close to my weight loss goal. My goal is 165lb. I was down to 172lbs after the 2 rounds of power 90. Somehow it went back up to 176lbs now since I started P90X. I am almost finished with my 1st round of P90X, and this is why I am concerned about this weight gain.
My original waist before was 38" before I start power 90. It remained 32" which was the result from Power 90. Nope, not seeing any inches lose or inches increased around my waist from P90X.
Yes, I have always been tracking my nutrition my calorie count. I am around 1700 calorie with 600 deficit from P90X work out. I never exceed my calorie. I maintain 1 cheat day everyday Sunday.
When I switch from power 90 to P90X it was killing me, but after 2 weeks I start getting use to it. I am finding I am getting stronger, definitely doing more reps etc. The only thing I do notice is my arm getting bigger from all those push-ups and lifts. I mean considering I still have 19% body fat on me this is why I am worried if something is wrong and I am not gaining muscle instead of fats which cause my weight gain.
I sleep 7 hours a day minimum. I haven't really changed anything other than a new job, which I have to wake up everyday at 6 to run my AM cardio, then head to work and finish the PM resistance training after work. Stress wise, I am not noticing any stress mentally or physically at the moment, maybe the first few weeks of the new job I was adjust my schedule. Other than that I haven't notice anything.
I also notice ever since I started P90X I have been swelling almost all the time, my face seem a little bloated. I wonder if it's the training I have been doing throughout P90X which my muscle is still adjusting? It's almost the end of first round so I'd thought I'd find out what's the reason behind it so this doesn't bring me down.

I just thought P90X would bring my body fat even lower, but so far I am not seeing the big difference compared to me when I was doing power90. I am wondering if there's a reason to it.
