Every year 45% of all Americans make new years resolutions. Loosing Weight and getting fit are the #1 and #5 most common new years resolutions.



That said, only 8% realize their goal. emoticon I think that's because most don't have the support they need to succeed. I'm going to start a round of Turbo Fire (advanced) on Saturday Dec 29th. Yeah I know it's a little before new years but I like to start on Saturday and I'm not waiting around until the 5th to begin.

If you've done countless rounds of Beachbody workouts, or if this is your first, everyone is welcome to join here. You don't have to commit to the Advanced set at first. You can start off with any of the Turbo Fire workouts and add the Advanced set at the end of your set if you decide you wish to continue with us on the longer journey.



This is an open support group that will provide as much or as little encouragement as you need to succeed. I also have a very small Facebook group as well. If you prefer to get your support via Facebook, look me up @ http://www.facebook.com/kelly.r.white and I'll add you to the group.

I just got my Turbo Fire and I am planning on starting on Monday the 31st. I am super pumped to start, but I like to start on Mondays! Looking forward to pushing myself!!!!!

Awesome. I've found that with these support threads there is a range of start dates of the folks who post. So please post as much as you like. Ask questions, share insights. Glad you have you on board!

I seem to have contracted some sort of sinus/chest cold. emoticon I'm still going to start on Saturday though. I'll just have to take it easy the first few days until it passes. Anyone else planning on starting a round this week? Feel free to post!

I hit a couple of speed bumps on my way to starting TF on Saturday. emoticon



Speed bump 1) sinus infection. Yeah, but I caught it before it moved into my chest so that's good. I am cleared by the doc to workout though. Woo hoo!



Speed bump 2) I jammed my little toe (the one I broke 2 months ago). It's all black and blue and swollen but at least it's not re-broken.



So I'm still on track to start. How about you?

Well, I though I had dodged the chest cold bullet but I was wrong. emoticon I've been ordered by the doc to hold off starting TF until the Doxycycline does it's job. It never fails. When ever I plan a new round of something I get ill. Looks like my new target start day is:

The chest is clear and we are 90% moved. The new place is a total cluster but as long as I can get my TF to play I'm starting today! How are you guys doing?

Well, I'm a little behind schedule but I am starting today. I had considered opening a new thread but that would just generate clutter so I'm sticking with this one. The delay from illness and our move was greater than anticipated but cest la vie. Sometimes life happens and all we can do is roll with the punches, right?

Everyone is welcome to participate in this thread. If you're looking for support, camaraderie, or just somewhere to let off steam I'm here to lend an ear. This will be my 3rd round of TF. The first two were cut short by bronchitis so I'm really excited to get going.

Yes, absolutely! I do appologize for the delay in response. We closed on our house on Jan 2 and I'm just now at a point where I can start working out. It took way longer than expected to get all our stuff moved from the old place to the new. It didn't help that the old place was 600 sq ft larger! emoticon Finding where to put all our stuff has been a challenge to say the least. My TV stuff isn't fully rebuilt yet but it's enough so that I can play my DVDs so I'm back. ;)

How have you been liking these first couple of weeks of TF? I know when I started, I felt like a retarded monkey flailing about. I'm not uncoordinated by any means and it took me like a month to start to feel comfortable with the choreography.

Today was my first "real" workout since I broke my toe and it feels like my days of barefoot working out are behind me. emoticon Once I find my Vibrams I'll give them a go but I don't think my baby toe is going to tolerate days and days of Turbo Fire. Guess someones getting new cross trainers today...

Wow! I love seeing how many calories you burned doing the workouts!! Wondering if I can join too since I started around the same time? I started my first round of TurboFire 12/31/12 and I'm loving it so far! I've been running the past couple months before that, but wanted something new and I love workouts like Zumba that have lots of choreography to follow. I'm also moving to India for the next 4-5 months and found out while I was there last year that workout videos were really helpful for getting my exercise. Excited to have others doing it with me as well!

Hi Kelly!

Wondering if you were still able to keep up with TurboFire...I'm just now seeing your reply from a few months ago! It was harder for me to keep up with the actual schedule than I thought it would be, so I kind of mixed days of TF with running or other activities that I was able to fit in (like playing volleyball since people were doing that anyway). I just started an actual round of TurboFire last Monday. So far I feel great! Over the weekend I missed two days because I was just two busy and also got sick, but I'm trying to stick with it. I already feel myself getting stronger. How did your results with the program end up going?? (This is my first time with a beachbody program so I'm curious emoticon )
