Shakeology and the rest of the day diet
Hi im living and working at a resort so the foods provided. Im gonna start taking this to replace a meal. Can u tell me what meal/time is best to be replace by shakeology, and what my other meals should like for the rest of the day, and when what and how I should eat. Thank you.
Andrew Raymond

P.S. I'm just starting the Asylum 1 program, and it's not like I'm trying to lose weight. I just want to get shredded, and the recipes shaun gives are unavailable to me. Could anyone give simplified ideas of what to eat and when, and portions, including shakeology.
Thank you !!

Hi Andrew!!! Welcome to Beachbody!! You have certainly picked an awesome program my friend!! To answer your question.....it is up to you which meal you would like it to replace as it is considered the healthiest meal of the day!!! I would play around with it to see which meal would fit best for you!

For foods: any type of vegetable (the greener, the leafier, the better!), almonds, pistachios, walnuts, strawberries, grapes, bananas, apples, quinoa, ground turkey, turkey, turkey sausage, chicken sausage, salmon, haddock (any seafood really!), chicken breasts, avacados, protein bars (Pure Protein brand is the best!), cheese sticks, turkey pepperoni, beef jerky, oatmeal, wheat or multigrain bread, eggs, skim or lowfat milk, greek yogurt (I like chobani personally!), steak (in small portions), tuna, brown rice, pork (preferably the tenderloin), hummus, ham.....Of course this is just a snapshot of foods!

I hope you find this info helpful!!! We are certainly here to help you and are extremely happy to be a part of your fitness journey!!

Another important facet to getting ripped as you made mention of is knowing your daily caloric intake level! Have you been able to determine this? If not, let me know and I can certainly assist you with that!! This would assist me with trying to develop a nutrition plan for you.

Keep pushing play and feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have!!

Thanks a lot Coach Frank,
I am also from New Hampshire!! I have never counted calories, so I am not too familiar with it, but I will definitely use any advice you can give me. Also with the Asylum, I don't have access to a chin up bar, so the dumbell alternatives, are they just as good?

Thanks,

Andrew Raymond

Wow, what a small world!! Counting calories is so easy....there are many free programs out there that can help you keep track. As the old saying goes, abs are made in the kitchen not the gym and knowing and understanding nutrition is 80% of any fitness program!

Thanks for accepting my invite! I sent you a message earlier! I would be more than happy to give you a hand to help you get a handle on things! No worries about the chin up bar....although preferred, sometimes you just have to adapt an overcome...you should be just fine. As a note, I was not a calorie counter myself but once I learned about it, I realized how important it was in order to help me attain and destroy my goals!!!

Feel free to shoot me any questions you have!!!

Happy Holidays!!!!
