Ok so I have tried Shakeology before (my friend had it one time) and I loved it. The only problem is Shakeology is just way out of my price range right now. I was wondering if for now anyone knew of any kind of alternatives to Shakeology that would be a lot cheaper? I'm sure I can't find anything exactly like it but having a good alternative is better than nothing at all. If anyone can help me out that would be great emoticon

There is no real alternative to shakeology. I recommend focusing on eating very clean. When you say alternative are you looking for a shake? There is a meal replacement shake available from teambeachbody.

What are you looking for? What is your overall goal? Before I had shakeology and still I focus tracking my nutrition and making good choices of lean meats and lots if veggies. You don't need shakeology to reach your goals.

Are you doing a program?

I thought the cost was a bit excessive when I first tried it also. However, I did the math and it actually has been saving me money over the course of a month. If you choose home direct delivery, you will save the delivery expense and if you become a Beachbody member you'll receive the 10% discount. The discount covers the monthly membership costs! I look at it this way, I use Shakeology and save the money from not eating a daily breakfast. I used to SPEND $6.00 a day on breakfast foods. Now, that's $180.00 in my pocket each month.
I really don't believe another "alternative" exists for this meal replacement shake. It is Full of healthy nutrition. The previous post said it well, if Shakeology is out of your range, right now, concentrate on eating healthy (Clean).

I do have same problem. Also, wanted to join challenge group, but I was required to buy Shakeology. I understand coaches will help you only if you buy this?

No your coach is there to help you no matter what. I coach people in challenge groups as well as other groups. My goal is to help them achieve their goals. No other requirements besides dedication to their goals! emoticon

There are some challenge groups that require purchases and some that don't. My coach helps me no matter what. My understanding is that coaches are supposed to support you on your fitness journey not just push people to buy the products. You can always seek assitance from other coaches as well as non coaches on the boards, in chats, etc. Ask around and see if there are any challenge groups with open slots that don't require a Shakeology purchase. Good luck on your journey. emoticon
