What are the two add'l workouts in the deluxe edition?
I was wondering what are the two additional workouts that are included in the deluxe edition.

Hi! Love P90X2. Are you doing it now or considering it? Have you done P90X?

The two additional workouts are:
Want to look good on camera? This is your workout. V Sculpt works your back and biceps, also known as the "actor muscles." Of course it's still P90X2, which means the exercises will all be done from an athletic stance. And, your strength gains will all be applicable to real-world movements (aside from posing for your friends on the beach).

X2 Chest + Shoulders + Tris

Give your chest, shoulders, and triceps, known as your "pushing muscles," an extra push. By adding a stability ball and medicine balls to simple exercises, you'll discover the body-shaping power of instability, and achieve astonishing results.

V sculpt is one if my fav workouts if the program.

I would love for you to join us at our support & motivation thread! Great group!

Thanks Christina. Yes, I have P90X but am considering P90X2. I already have a foam roller and a stability ball, so I wasn't sure if I wanted the Deluxe Edition.

Hey Pilot,

I also owned the stability ball and foam roller so I bought the basic version and then purchased med balls and the pull up assist separately. With shipping and handling, beachbody charges $70 for the two additional workouts, outrages IMO, so I'll do without them and just make do with the DVDs from the base version. I love love love X2 but I'm turned off by the price of the additional DVDs.

If memory serves correctly, when you buy the basic package, they offer free shipping and handling for the two bonus dvds which brings the price to $60 - still too pricy in this economy.

Hey Pilot, if you like P90x2, then I would definitely recommend the bonus workouts - I like them better than the ones that come with P90x2. Agreed they are a little expensive if you buy separately (I had got mine when I purchased the deluxe set which came with them). I would say ask for them for a gift if you don't want to pay for yourself - hehe.

One thing to consider - you need additional medicine balls and vSculpt does use bands for 3 exercises - so to Rooster's point, you have to factor that into your total cost too.

If you aren't crazy about x2 or really don't want to spend the $ - then just look at the workout sheets and maybe find some of the moves on youtube and just incorporate as needed for variety.

Have fun and good luck

Hi Rabid.

My thinking is exactly like yours. The additional discs would be great to have but they are pricey. It also doesn't help that I have all of the accessories from the deluxe version except for the medicine balls.

Hi dncm.

It's too soon to tell if I like X2 seeing as I haven't purchased it yet, but I'm sure X2's base program is great on its own even without the additional workouts.

Thank you both for your input.

Overall, I think the program is great whether you do the extra workouts or not. I ordered the deluxe so I got everything. I liked having the ability to mix it up.

When were you thinking of doing P90X2?

Cheers,
Christina
