| The best advice that can be given is to consult a beachbody coach for support and advice, they will help you to discover and push your limits safely along your Insanity fitness journey.
But, along with this, I suppose it depends on what you mean by feeling too fatigued to finish the fit test.
How did the fatigue manifest? Were there any other symptoms such as: dizzyness, hyperventilation and/or breathing difficulties, pains in the chest or some exercise injury that required medical attention?
If the answer is no, then as far as I can see, there is no definitive answer to your question. If you think you had more to give and could have perhaps gotten through it if you had tried a little harder, then you could give it another shot if you wanted to.
But on the other hand, I see no reason why you cant just carry on with the program as it is, taking it at your own pace. In some ways, this result is a good one to start from, because the less you can manage in the beginning, the more improvements you will see as you progress over the 60 days, which is the best part (for me) of Insanity, seeing your fitness improve over time. It is highly likely, that come the next fit test, you will get further and even be able to complete the whole test with much greater results. If you do the workouts every day, taking it in your own pace, you will definitely see improvements that you wont have expected.
My first ever fit test, I was unable to do any press up jacks (this in part was because I didnt believe I could, so I didnt try), by the second fit test, I had discovered through trial and error that my negative beliefs were unfounded and was able to do 18.
But as I say, choose a coach who will be able to give you qualified advice and support on your journey, perhaps join a group or thread, maybe start a blog, and do the work outs at a pace that suits you. When you feel tired you dont have to quit, just pause to catch your breath and get back to it as soon as you feel ready and able. If you are needing to pause for lengths that mean you miss a lot of exercises, then use the pause button. Turn your pause for breath time into your Insanity challenge with the aim of making your pause time a little shorter each try.
Good luck with it, keep pushing play and experience the change,
