Why not just do the reps twice as slow? Think Tempo sets here. 22 lbs should be enough to destroy your triceps on single arm kickbacks and biceps if you tempo them. You could also blast your back with tempo reverse flys and those weights should be plenty enough for Shoulder Workouts (1,2,3 front raise, Sagi 6 Way, side lateral raise, and you could tempo chest flys on various inclines of an adjustable bench.

I think those 22 lbs dumbbells would be fine for Core Synergistics (doing Squat X Press with 15 lb dumbbells used to wear me out)...also you could use those for the Lunge and Reach, and the Lunge, Tricep Kickback, Shoulder Press sets as well. Chest Shoulders and Triceps would be a great workout for those weights...just try the weighted arm circles with those 22 lb weights and tell me how you feel.

All I'm saying is that there is a lot you CAN do with 22 lbs dumbbells if you think about it. Core Synergistic was one of my favorite P90x workouts....so yeah...I'm a bit biased.
Sounds like you are on an awesome trip, but just know that you have plenty of weight to tear those muscle fibers.
