calories insanity diet junk food binge christmas sweets cheat mess up

Breakfast= 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1 cup milk, 1 tablespoon canola oil, 1 cup broccoli, 1 chicken (thigh)
Snack- 1 Lemon soft top cookie
Snack- 2 doughnuts
Lunch 1- 1 cup oatmeal, 4 tablespoon protein powder, 1 cup 2% milk
Snack- 3 doughnuts
Christmas Lunch- a biscuit, turkey leg, 2 breadsticks, 1 doughnut. 3 oreo cookies, 1 cup Diet Coke


And a crap load of oatmeal raison cookies

And today's not even over! Ugh. I'm like panicking right now. I must have ruined soo many days. I'm already about 1,074 calories over budget (for weight loss), and today's not even over. I don't even know how many workouts I've ruined for Insanity. And I just started my second round! Ugh.

So what should I do? Maybe double up on workouts for the rest of the week? Eat super low calorie tomorrow and do a month 2 workout?

Man, I knew I couldn't handle being around all those christmas sweets.

Chill out and get back to it tomorrow. You've just completed one round of Insanity so i'm sure one bad day won't make much difference.

Having high calories days can help weight loss efforts due to effects of T4 being converted to active T3 and Leptin levels.
In other words don't worry about it and enjoy the holidays.

Hey,

I "blew it" over the holidays as well (my mom's cooking is too good to refuse!!!!). At first, I felt guilty, but then I got right back to my Insanity and eating plan and I was amazed at how quickly I bounced back. All that hard work we do isn't ruined by a day bad or two, so don't beat yourself up (I know, easier said than done) and just get back to your usual routine as soon as you can. : )

Do not worry about it and stop beating yourself up.

Get right back to it but do not double up workouts. Thats way over training especially with a program like insanity. I've cheated too and it was on the first two days of P90X. But here I am a week later feeling awesome and in charge of my diet. A cheat meal/day here and there is okay, but making a habit of it and doing it consecutively is what destroys results. Take a deep breath and tell yourself you can do this, you want it and you WILL do it.
