I'm curious about possibly trying Body Beast after I finish up some other things I'm doing. I'm not really looking to be huge or anything, but it seems like a good program to really build up some muscle for a one time through kind of thing.

With the nutrition though, I know it wants you to eat A LOT. If I stick with my current plans doing X2/Asylum will that be fine? It's already expensive enough to eat healthy at my current level, increasing that isn't overly appealing! haha.

I've completed a round of Body Beast and am about to start a 2nd round. I will say this, you really need to pay attention to what the Body Beast nutrition guide is saying, and don't bee afraid of the extra calories. This is a totally different type of program then X2/Asylum and you will need the extra CLEAN calories to power through the workouts. I emphasize clean because I fell into the trap of focusing on the "extra" portion of the calories and dove headfirst into the see food diet. I can do Insanity/Asylum/X2 all day long on fewer calories, but would bonk heavily during a Body Beast workout if I didn't have the proper amount of food. If you don't want to get HUGE, then do the Lean version of Body Beast which includes a little extra cardio, but DO folllow the nutrition advice in the guide...you will be happy if you do.

Hrm indeed. Having to come up with another 500-700 clean calories every day would put a damper on the wallet haha.

Still might try it though, I absolutely love Asylum/X2 but doing one round of Beast to really build a good round of muscle is still really appealing to me.
