Weights for Combat??
Weights for Combat??
12/26/12 4:27 PM
I tried searching the forum but didn't see this answer, so just thought I'd as real quick.

I'm starting Combat on the 31st and am wondering what kind of weights I need for the one HIIT workout that calls for it and if anyone has suggestions on where I could get relatively cheap, but still good condition ones?

Thanks!

Craigslist is always a great start when looking for cheaper exercise equipment. Dan uses 20 and 30lbs for Power Hitt 1 while the girls use considerable less. I can't tell exactly how much weights they use but its less then him. New dumbbells on average cost about a dollar a lb.

Sometimes you can find sets in local consignment shops, if any are near you. Also, garage sales listed in classified sections, although it's not really garage sale season. Out by me, we also have a "Play It Again Sports" that deals in selling used athletic equipment. I have found some bargains there (50lb dumbells at half the retail).
Good Luck!

I would say 10 pounds at most. If you don't have any and can't afford now a gallon of water or milk is 8 pounds.
