I'm wondering if there is something I can drink in the mornings to give me the energy that caffeine does. I'm doing Insanity and have been able to switch the rest of my intake over to the meal plan except a drink to start the day. Thanks!

There is a bunch of them. Beachbody's E&E pre-workout formula is good, taste is another conversation. Hydro HIT from Amazon is a good one. Vega Sports also has a vegan pre-workout thayt I have tried before, works well.

Are you looking for a pre-workout drink or just something that will increase your energy. I drink Shakeology daily and it gives me more energy all around. If you are looking specifically for a pre-workout drink, BB has an Energy and Endurance formula you can add to your water to enhance your energy during your workout.

Mainly just something to have in the mornings. I do my workout in the evenings so I don't have a problem with energy then.

All the sports "energy drinks" or pre-workouts contain caffeine, so if you're trying to avoid it then they're not the right option. Is there a reason you're not just drinking coffee or tea or whatever you normally drink? The issue with coffee, dietarily, is all the cream and sugar a lot of people put in in. Black coffee has no calories and, except for possible insomnia, is perfectly fine for you. Steve Edwards wrote a good piece on caffeine a while back. It is HERE
