Wanting to form a group to start the reset on Jan. 1st! What a great way to bring in the New Year.
This is my first time going through the reset so hoping I can get a group together to share our experiences and have lots of support for the next 21 days.

I'm in need of a life change, I feel tired all the time and need to lose weight.
My goals out of this is to feel better about myself, have more energy and just feel better in my health. I am looking towards going Vegan after the reset I do want this to be a life change for me.

Look forward to hearing from all of you and good luck with your reset as well!

I will be starting January 2nd! I am nervous, but excited to get healthier! emoticon I don't get much support from my family, so it will be a challenge, but I will definitely stick to it for my own sake! Good luck and keep me posted! Happy New Year!

Hi Amy!

You CAN do it! emoticon I did it in July and it was well worth it. You are WORTH it so make sure your family knows how important this is to you.

Cheers!

I started my Ultimate Reset this morning.

Went shopping yesterday and got everything on the list for week 1 and was going to start on the January 1st. Last night I decided why wait.

I'm off to chop veggies and make dressing for my lunch meal.

Awesome I will be keeping everyone posted as I go through this journey. It seems to help stay motivated by blogging.
I too finished up my grocery shopping yesterday for week 1. Making some changes but trying very hard to stick with the plan. Just had some trouble finding some ingredients since I do live in a small town.
Supper excited though!!!
Good luck and hope to hear from more from days to come!

I am lucky enough that they recently opened a Whole Foods store in the area; otherwise, I think I would have had trouble finding some things even in a town the size of Des Moines without going to several different stores.

I just finished putting together my salad for lunch and decided to post a picture of it with this message. Some times I think some of the pictures with the recipes can seem overwhelming so maybe posting some things like this along the way will help. I was waiting on pumpkin seeds and almond slivers to toast when I took this picture. I made the creamy garlic dressing.

I added jicama to my salad. I have to admit this is the first time I've ever jicama. For those that haven't tried it I think it is crunchy and tastes like a very sweet carrot.

Good luck to others starting this week.

Who is starting the reset today?

Made it through day 1 without issue and down 2.2 pounds this morning so encouraged to make it through day 2.

Food plan for today looks decent ... although I hate olives and won't be eating those. Now tomorrow looks to be a bit more challenging. Never been big on sushi but since I'm making it and know exactly what is in it, I'll give it a try.

Day 1 went well yesterday. No headaches or pains. I was off so I did prep food for this week to same time. Not looking forward to work today but excited to see how I handle it with the reset!

Oh and the alkalizer was not as bad as I thought it would be. Looking forward to today!

And yes the jicama was very good, it was my first experience with it also, very sweet!
Good Luck today and the rest of phase 1!

Starting day 3 ... and down another 2.2 pounds this morning. I'm know this rate of loss won't continue but that would be nice. Day 2 went well. Had some cravings last night but just drank water and stayed on track.

As for the alkalizer ... I can tolerate it but certainly don't look forward to it.

The challenge for today will be making dinner but I've got all the ingredients prepared so we'll see how it goes.

bpaytonIA-Thats great that you are already losing weight! How are you on fatigue? Also are you doing a snack during the day?

I'm alittle tired today and started feeling a little sick earlier but drink some water and felt better hopefully the rest of the day will be good!

Haven't really noticed much change in fatigue.

I am doing an afternoon snack from the list in the program, and I'm also doing a 15-20 minute walk on the treadmill morning and evening.

Day 3 is coming to an end.

Made the Nori rolls for dinner and tomorrow's lunch. Actually enjoyed them more than I expected. Totally forgot to include the pieces of tempeh strip before I wrapped them up so I kind of just stuffed the pieces of tempeh into pieces of the roll after I cut it up.

I decided to make the cucumber and tomato salad instead of the Japanese cucumber salad.

Made the miso soup, but can't say that I'll be making that again any time soon.

Ready for day 4. Looking forward to stir-fried veggies with quinoa tomorrow night.

So day 4 in the books! Feeling great still, not really any side effect. Some minor headaches here and there the past couple of days but drank more water and they went away. Still a little tired but also it comes and goes. I still feel like I'm always in the kitchen cooking. Oh well I have fun! I weighed the morning and I was down almost 6 pounds. YAY I was really surprised since I have been eating a lot! It seems like it anyways. Had the stir-fry tonight, its one of my favorites. I mixed it in with my quinoa very good.
Well good luck and have a great weekend. Hope your all are feeling as good as I am!

Day 7 is coming to a close. Down 9.4 pounds so far as of this morning, but we'll see what the first week's total is tomorrow morning.

Went shopping yesterday afternoon for week 2 groceries. Having trouble finding a Kabocha squash, but I'll try one more place tomorrow. Might have to substitute it with another type of squash -- maybe an acorn squash or something. Has anyone else had that problem?

Have been pretty tired this evening even though I felt like a slept better last night than I have in quite some time.

Week #1 is officially over now and I'm down 10.8 pounds for the week. Pretty happy with those results.

I think I could get use to the fruit platter breakfast. It looks so fresh and festive when you take the time to prepare it.

I usually use a nasal spray morning and night because of chronic sinus problems, but I noticed last night that I haven't been using it as much and I'm still feeling much less congested. Very nice unexpected result from the reset.

Awesome Results for week 1 Congrates! Today Day 7 for me looking forward to weighing in the morning to see my week one results.

I'm going shopping tonight for next week groceries but aslo have not found the squash. Thinking about getting the acorn squash.

I still been tired off and on I did have to work 12 hrs yesterday so that wasn't fun but hoping next week I will get my energy back up but other then that I feel good.

Good luck with next week will be posting results of week 1 tomorrow!

Week 1 officially done! Weighed the morning and down 7 lbs since I started. I can't imagine what 2 more weeks will do. Looking forward to the end and feeling more energetic and healthier!

Shopping done for week 2 I went with the butternut squash so I hope it turns out alright.

Also could not find the seaweed for the soup I have to have so I guess I will just make it without it.

Congratulations on getting through week 1 and your results!

I picked up an acorn squash last night since I still couldn't find the Kabocha squash.

Got through day 1 of week 2 without any issues. Was a little surprised that I was down another 2.0 lbs today so excited about that. So that puts me down 12.8 lbs in 8 days.

Day 10 of 21!!! About the half way mark I'm feeling good, the detox hasn't started working on me yet like others have said if you know what I mean. Heard some people go throuh it on the 3rd week.
I can tell my skin is really clearing up and is smoothier, I'm still tired off and on, hoping that will get better this week with all the fruits and veggies that are in the next 2 weeks.
I am feeling alittle bloated but I read where you just need to drink more water. I'm only drinking about a gallon a day since I started.

I haven't weighted this week going to wait till the end of week 2 to see.

I really enjoy most of the meals, Last night the soup was amazing really liked the sweet potatoe and red pepper bisque. Going to keep alot of these recipes in my everyday plan after this reset.

Hope all is well keep up the great work!

Day 16 of 21 almost done! I feel alot better then when I started. I can tell my body is changing and the insides are much happier. I'm still a little sluggish but haven't ben able to do the 10 min walks since its been so cold. I can tell my taste buds have changed significantly and can't wait to try more recipes like in this program.

I weighted at the beginning of the week and scales were down almost 11 pounds and lost 3 inches in my waist so far. 5 more days and can't wait to see the end results and feel so much healthier!
