I've purchased the Beachbody Base Shake, Fuel Shot, M.A.X. Creatine, and Super Suma; and wanted to know when do I take these supplements? Is it preworkout, post workout, before I sleep, etc. I'm honestly surprised how many different supplements there are for this workout. Please let me know what's the best way and what do you guys usually do when it comes to Body Beast workout and the supplements. Thanks!
The Book of Beast answers addresses your questions, but the Book of Beast has errors that I hope are now corrected. Here's the rundown
Super Suma: I like to take it 1 hour before working out.
Hardcore Base Shake: Goes in your post workout Beast Shake
Fuel Shot: Goes in your post workout Beast Shake (1 scoop, not 2)
Creatine: 10 grams in your post workout Beast Shake per the Book of Beast, though there are many different opinions on how to take creatine and when to take...I did something different.
I also took a pre-workout supplement 20 minutes before working out. My thoughts on the Beast Shake are to keep a 4 to 1 ratio of carbs to protein, so 80 carbs to 20 grams of protein would be great. There are recipes for Beast Shakes in the Book of Beast but it incorrectly lists 2 scoops of Fuel Shot instead of 1.
To put on the muscle mass you are going to have to eat a lot, so definitely spend some time working on your diet ahead of time.
