My wife does Turbo Fire and when she stops fro a week typically will lose 2-4lbs. But when she starts working out hard again gains those 2-4 lbs back and is really frustrated. Has been on this scycle for about 90 days now and I do not have the answer for her. any suggestions as to why this happens?

There good be many factors. Nutrition would be an important factor. Also, when she does the workouts, she could be retaining water which would add to weight gain. It's not uncommon to lose a few pounds during a rest week. I would just need more detailed info on workout, nutrition, etc.. to give a better answer.

Especially in women, it is perfectly normal to fluctuate there body weight while doing physical exercise. What happens is the body shuttles all the nutrients to the muscles being tore up from exercise and the only way to do that is with water or blood. Women are already prone to on and off water retention. Its perfectly normal.

My wife does P90X and this happens to her all the time. She will gain anywhere from 2-4 pounds on the hard workout weeks then drop 6 pounds on the rest week.

If she is staying true to her diet while doing the program then she should be shedding BF% regardless. The scale isnt always gonna tell the truth. Make sure she is taking her measurements. But like said above, we need more info on her nutrition etc. Hope this helps.
