Hello to all you Les Mills fans. This is the first time I have posted on the message boards but I wanted to get some opinions from others.

First off I love Les Mills Pump, I swear by it! And I just got combat and it is a real but kicker. However, is it just me or does anyone notice a couple of things?

1. Combat is a great workout and all but I feel as if that you enjoy Pump more during the workout. Almost as if you are smiling the entire workout during Pump and time flies by. With Combat you literally have to fight your way through it. I mean Pump Extreme is tough but you feel like it's over in a flash, but with Combat 60 you feel every second of those 60 minutes.

2. Does anyone else miss the other trainers from Pump? Dan and Rach are great but I think I would enjoy Combat more if they brought back the gang from Pump. I know a lot of them teach Combat as well. I have Joel and Jericho down here in SoCal with me and they are always doing Combat classes. Nothing against the new Combat Trainers, but I think there was a more natural chemistry with the Pump crew!

Anyone else feel this way, or am I just crazy?!

KIA KAHA!

I really like Pump and the Instructors. I do not have combat yet but I would love to see more Pump. Any chance of more coming out?

I'm a Pump Grad and I'm 22 days into Combat.. To be honest, I like Combat a little better than Pump.. I still do Pump Extreme or Revolution on days I want a little extra, but Combat is my primary. The intensity of Combat is MUCH higher than it is Pump. Being also an Insanity grad, I like the intensity. Pump has the instructors talking to you, cheering you on on a very low key level.. Dan and Rach are hyping you up in Combat. Two totally different realms, two ways of keeping you going, both very enjoyable and they both work for their programs.. I don't exactly miss the Pump instructors, well, except maybe Jericho ;).. Not all prgrams are going to suit everyone, but hopefully people will at least enjoy each program they try and, just as important, get the results they are looking for.

Yes all the instructors are versed in the different workouts, but Dan and Rach are the original Les Mills Combat instructors and that is their area of expertise same way Jericho may be an expert in Pump!! Just an FYIemoticon

This thread has been really insightful. I am currently doing Combat and have thought that Pump is my next program. Sounds like it may go either way on whether I like one over the other!

Great feedback.

I guess it just comes down to preference. I still feel that Pump goes by much faster than Combat but both are great programs either way.
