Need to Modify TF diet plan.... HELP!!
I want to follow the Turbo Fire diet plan, but it needs some modification and I'm not sure how to do it the right way.

The plan is based on 1500 cals per day, and shows you what to add to bring it up to 1800 per day. According to the formula in the nutrition guide, I should be starting at 2600 cals per day. How much of what do I need to initially add to my meals to keep it balanced while eating the right amount of calories?

Thanks!

Hello lolamarie,

First, 2600 seems a little high to me. Most women should be between 1700-2000. I would double check the formula. You ask a good question about what to add to keep it balanced, however, a little difficult to answer without knowing what you are consuming. I would be happy to help you, if you could provide more info. I will send you a buddy request.

Assuming that your calculations are correct, 2600 calories per day is what you need to MAINTAIN your current weight. If you want to lose weight you need to take a calorie deficit. Remember the nutrition guide is just that;A GUIDE.. Everyone is different....

I guess that's where I'm getting confused. Within the equation is a 500 calorie deficit, and even after that I'm sitting at that 2600 cal number.

I know that you can't reduce your calories too much, otherwise you'll counteract what you're trying to do and slow down your metabolisim and make your body think it's starving. I am okay with the idea of not eating that much, but I just really want to get started on the right foot. I've never done too much with the nutrition aspect of fitness and I think that has been my big downfall.

Thanks!
