I am Starting my weight-loss journey in january . Wanting to find other people who are also i have 100+ to loose and could very much use motivation and support and would love to encourage others also. I am doing Chalean Extreme and Turbo Jam. I had completed turbo jam back in 2007 with GREAT results unfortunately I had gotten lazy and gained it back...i could blame my pregnancy but it was just do to I had flat out gotten lazy and I am ready to get back in shape and be healthy

HI!!!

I would love to be part of the group. I would like to loose 50 pounds, ideally 60 though. I have summers off (I work at a high school), so for the past 3 summers I have done P90X, then start back to work in the fall and slowly slip away from the time committment of P90X...or any workout routine for that matter.

I love the workouts and challenge that P90X offers, but really really struggle with the "diet" and eating correctly. As much as I love Tony Horton, I think I need to change up my routine (hahah, yeah right - "ROUTINE"...I don't have a routine right now).

I just ordered chx, and am very excited to get started. I also had a physical about a week ago, and diabetes will be in my future if I choose.

What I want for my body versus what I'm willing to do to get it don't match up.
Maybe this time it will?

i'm in! doing the charLean just got the Boflex selectec weights. plan on doing it 4 times a week with a hot yoga night in the mix. Happy New year! I'll be checking in during the week

Hi! I would love to join you and others! I'm starting turbo jam tomorrow too! I need to lose 100-125 lbs! Beachbody was new to me when I started shakeology on 12/1 along with hip hop abs! I haven't lost any weight yet but haven't fully been eating well! I did lose a total of 6 inches in the first few weeks of doing HHA before I got some back pain and was sick last week.emoticon. I've already been thinking of what program to do after turbo jam and was thinking of doing a Charlene extreme/turbo fire hybrid but maybe I can mix Chalene extreme in with turbo jam starting the 2nd month? Will see how my body is doing. How do you know what to follow each day with those 2?

Yes! I'm in! I've had Chalene Extreme for almost a full year, but just opened it today. I did the first scheduled workout and it wasn't too bad. I need to lose 90 pounds and my 25th wedding anniversary is in July. I know that's a lot to lose by then, but any will be good! I also started Weight Watchers today, so I"ll need accountability to stay on track!

I am starting today. I need these boards to keep working, otherwise I find it too easy to skip. I am on the fence about which to do, BBL or CLX. Guess I will kick off whatever inspires me when I get home tonight. My main goal is tone and tighen, not so much weight loss but that will be welcome if it happens! emoticon

I look forward to working out with each of you and helping us all reach our goals.

I'm in! I just started Chalean Extreme Dec 31! I've recently lost about 15 lbs with Insanity and WeightWatchers and I am ready to lift some weights with Chalene to take off another 10 to 15.

I did day 2 of turbo jam today and really like it! I did the 2nd part of the learn and burn workout plus the 20 minute workout! Woop! emoticon

Did the BBL Basics and Bum Bum last night. I will only get one workout in tonight as we head out for a big wrestling tourney for my boys. Something is better than nothing! Trick is to see if I can get a workout in tomorrow and Saturday.

My Chx arrived!!! I did Burn 1 today. Very different from P90X. Not used to going as slow as she did for reps, and working multiple muscle groups...but loved it!! Also loved the fact that it was not an hour like most of the P90X workouts...but she still worked you no doubt!

Day off tomorrow, I suppose. But I kind of want to do the cardio of P90X. It's short and to the point like Chx. We'll see though??

When I was reading the books that came with the CD's, a comment she wrote took my breath away. She said "you will look like a new person....feel like a brand new person...one who has self confidence, self esteem, ...and self love."

I doing okay (for the most part) with the confidence and the esteem....but the self love...never really thought of that. Hum???

Heidi, now you have me wanting to do CLX.

I started BBL last week but did not get a chance to work out over the weekend. Traveling for kids sports is tough. So back on track this week. I cam going to start over since I had only done day 1 last Wed anyways.

I am on day 8 of Chalean Extreme. I am looking forward to lifting some more weights tonight. My booty is screaming today, it is amazing how targeted these workouts are. No wasted energy, that is for sure!

Good Morning everyone!

My name is Jenn. I would like to join your group if y'all will allow me to? I'm 29 yo. I have a 3 yo daughter and have been married for almost 8 years.

I have been struggling with my weight since high school and maybe before then. I was a skinny kid but I remember once I got in high school, my weight was above ave. Anyway, I have been a beachbody member for a long time now. I have several programs and I have only done one round of any of them. That was Chalean Extreme last summer ('12) with my mom. I lost 5 lbs and 12" altogehter. After we got done, I wanted to try BBL which we both didn't like. Then I ordered Turbo Fire which I like but my mom doesn't. So anyway, after months of not really working out and not eating well, I have gained all plus more back. I've gained about 10 lbs and I have no idea how many inches since I haven't measured.

We started CE up again on 1/2/13. I missed a couple work outs over the weekend. Today is technically my rest day but we will do Burn it off and Recharge tonight and start with week 2 tomorrow. We have things going on thursday afternoons so thats why we started on a wednesday.

I was looking back on my old statistics and found out that since right before I got preg. in 2008, I have gained 36 lbs emoticon and many inches. I knew I had gained but I didn't realize how much.

Hello Everyone,

I finished week one of Chx. When I put in Burn It Off, I was a bit disappointed with it being under 30 minutes... P90X is at least 42 minutes (that's the shortest DVD.) However, after I was done, I was just as sweaty (and sweatier quicker), if not more, vs Cardo P90X. Then was the recharge... and that's not a walk in the park either.

Thus...I"m very pleased with Chx!!! It's a totally different mindset than P90X in the fact that you are lifting differently and doing cardio differently...it's not that one is better than the other...just differnt...I LOVE IT!!! I love that fact that she mixes muscle groups.

Good Morning Everyone emoticon

Today is my Rest day for the end of week 2. However, I missed my burn intervals the other day so I got up this morning and worked out with TF HIIT 15. Later I'm gonna get Burn Intervals done, if the baby allows it. I'm a little tired but I dont think its all due to working out. Just about every night the baby wakes up in the middle of the night and will not go back to sleep very easily, so my sleep is broken up. Anyway, I'll just go to bed early tonight.

Heidi ~ Thats really awesome you are sweating more with CE! I'm glad you love it. I do too!

How is every one else doing with their eating and working out?

For the last few days my food has been right on time, I just need to get through the weekend. That is the hardest part of the week for me. If we are out or if I'm at home not doing anything all I want to do is eat.
